Marginalized

Do we convince ourselves that we want the best for others…as long as I, the individual have better? Our isolation tactics may be blatant. Humankind has polished the societal methods we have created to position ourselves above one another in belief and social status, into fine gems, subtle and sublime. We have become clannish masters at defining cultural norms and equally as skilled at stacking the deck against those who do not match our sense of values; those who think and act even slightly differently from ourselves―the marginalized.
